I saw her submit the form, and I heard the system crash right after.
Tras verbos de percepción (see, hear, watch, notice), el infinitivo sin to cuenta la acción completa y el -ing, la acción en progreso. Nunca va to. 🔊
Regla dura: tras estos verbos nunca va to (✗ I saw her to submit).
acción completa → see somebody do. acción en curso → see somebody doing.
El kit de la percepción. see somebody do, see somebody doing, hear something do/doing, watch, notice. Pulsa para oír:

Errores típicos
- ① to tras percepción. ✗ I heard it to crash → ✓ I heard it crash.
- ② Aspecto al revés. Si seguía sonando, va -ing: I heard it making noise, no I heard it make noise (eso es un ruido puntual).
- ③ Olvidar el objeto. ✗ I saw submit the form → ✓ I saw her submit the form.
- ④ Confundir con la pasiva. En pasiva sí vuelve el to: she was seen to submit it (formal); en activa, sin to.
I saw the app close sugiere un cierre limpio y completo; I saw the app closing over and over apunta a un fallo recurrente.
« I heard the drive click once, then I noticed it spinning nonstop. »
Heard the drive click marca un suceso puntual y noticed it spinning describe un estado continuo: dos matices en una frase de diagnóstico.
Ojo: con make y let (causativos) también va infinitivo sin to en activa: it made the app crash, let me check.
Shadowing
Escucha → repite → revela. El objeto corto se une al verbo: saw her → so-wer, heard it → her-dit.
Prueba de memoria
Lee la frase en español y elige do (completo) o doing (en curso), sin to.
