We sent the report to the client this morning.
Después va el lugar y al final el tiempo: We sent the report (objeto) to the client (lugar) this morning (tiempo). Con dos objetos, give admite dos moldes: give the customer a refund (persona + cosa) o give a refund to the customer (cosa + to + persona). El tiempo también puede ir al principio para enfatizar: This morning, we sent the report.
Verbo + objeto pegados; luego lugar; luego tiempo. Nunca we sent to the client the report.

✗ I checked in the system the order → ✓ I checked the order in the system.
- ② Tiempo en medio. ✗ We closed at five the ticket → ✓ We closed the ticket at five.
- ③ Tiempo antes del lugar. Preferible at the office at 3 (lugar → tiempo), no at 3 at the office.
- ④ give + to + persona + cosa. ✗ give to the customer a refund → ✓ give the customer a refund.
« The team escalated the case to level 2 this afternoon. »
Aquí el objeto (the case) va pegado al verbo (escalated), luego el lugar/destino (to level 2) y al final el tiempo (this afternoon): un reporte que se lee de un vistazo.
Ojo: para enfatizar el momento, mueve el tiempo al inicio con coma: This afternoon, we escalated the case.
Shadowing
Escucha → repite → revela.
