I need some information. There isn't much time.
Los contables llevan plural y many / a few; los incontables no tienen plural ni a/an y llevan much / a little. 🔊
Cómo funciona
Un contable se puede numerar: tiene singular y plural, admite a/an y va con many, a few, a number of: an order, three orders, many orders.

- ① Pluralizar incontables. ✗ informations, advices, feedbacks → ✓ information, advice, feedback.
- ② a/an con incontable. ✗ an advice → ✓ a piece of advice / some advice.
- ③ many / much al revés. many con contables, much con incontables: many steps / much time.
- ④ news en plural. ✗ The news are good → ✓ The news is good.
Cultura en contexto
En inventarios, reportes y correos, distinguir contable de incontable te hace sonar preciso: We received a lot of feedback and a few complaints. Mezclar much/many delata al hablante no nativo.
« I just need a little more information to locate your account. »
Suavizar con a little / a few es muy útil: pedir a little more time suena más amable que exigir more time.
Shadowing
Escucha → repite → revela. some y a se apoyan débiles: sam-in-for-MEI-shen, a-fyu-OP-shens.
